Origin of KORTE Bauteile
The founder of KORTE Bauteile GmbH, Dipl.-Bauingenieur Klaus Korte, studied structural engineering in Stuttgart from 1964 to 1969, was a consultant engineer (VBI), Chamber of Engineers Baden-Württemberg 0504, and concrete engineer (VDB).
From 1969 to 1974, Klaus Korte worked in the building industry as a site manager and general manager. From 1975 to 2005, he owned the company ‘KORTE Ingenieurbüro für Brücken- und Bauwerk-Sanierung’, Heidelberg, which operated in Germany and other countries.
During his many years of work as an expert in concrete engineering, sealing and structure preservation, Klaus Korte was frequently confronted with questions concerning façade dirtying (defect or damage?), concrete damage and durability of façades and components.
In the light of this knowledge, the idea of industrially manufactured mouldings was developed which resulted in the founding of the company KORTE Bauteile for the production and sale of industrially produced
mouldings.
Until this day, Klaus Korte has remained the sole executive proprietor of KORTE Bauteile GmbH, headquartered in Heidelberg.
Company founder and proprietor Klaus Korte has authored various publications on the above issues in his capacity as a trade journalist.
